  • Since beginning my arranging career in 1999, I have catalogued over 100 arrangements and/or compositions at varying skill levels. I have been used as the "staff arranger" for colleges and high school bands all over the country since my first publication with Warner Brothers Music. 2003 – Current            Alabama State University

        • Serve as a member on the Music History & Appreciation committees
        • Expose students to professional contacts either personally or via e-mail
        • Guest Soloist/Clinician performing locally and nationally
        • Pending Spring Jazz Ensemble touring to southeastern US High Schools
        • Established a relationship with Coda Music and being trained to become a Finale Music Notations Clinician.
        • Judging Jazz & Marching festivals as a representative of A.S.U. and continued correspondence with students and directors to bring exposure to A.S.U.

 

2002 – 2003                Callaway High School

        • Coordinate budgets and fundraisers in order to succeed in the years planned goals.
        • Obtained new equipment due to fundraising
        • Traveled to a National concert band festival
        • Raised money in excess of $37,000.00 to ensure goals were met.

 

1999 – 2002                Troy State University 

        • Logistics Coordinator for the T.S.U. band department
        • Prepared estimated budgets for annual band travel in excess of $135,000.00
        • Prepared travel arrangements including booking hotels and transportation
        • Preparing “bid for business” statements
        • Coordinate itineraries for all University instrumental ensembles
        • Determine mileage allowance for faculty and students while on University related trips
        • Coordinate with Host Universities and concert venues.
        • Used professional contacts that were instrumental in the hiring and promotion of guest artists such as Lee Greenwood & Dennis Edwards to perform at halftime with the Marching Band, which played an important role in the transition of Troy State to Division I-A
